The challenge

The challenge

Explain technical and regulatory aviation topics clearly, without losing accuracy, across very different formats: long-form videos, shorts, podcast, accident cases, courses and ads. And make it all look like one brand.

What we did

  1. A style guide built together with the Pilot Institute team and applied to all their videos and courses
  2. Long-form channel videos edited under that guide
  3. Simple 2D animation and graphics to explain procedures
  4. The Flying New Guy podcast: real flight lessons and the studio conversation
  5. A large volume of shorts cut from every video and episode
  6. Accident Case Stories: aviation accidents told as stories, a format where we are among the best in the niche
  7. Per-video visual guides: what to animate, what to show and where each call to action goes
  8. Course VSLs (Video Sales Letters) and seasonal ad campaigns
  9. Full edit of the Perfect Takeoffs and Landings course

Results

“Nine Minutes to Disaster”, from the Accident Case Stories series, passed 195K views; “Pressure vs. Density Altitude” 171K, and “Every Runway and Taxiway Marking Explained” reached 155K views in its first 11 days. The Perfect Takeoffs and Landings course, fully edited by us, is on sale at pilotinstitute.com.
